Attention Busy Parents: Concihairge Comes to Philly
If you're too busy to make it to the salon, get your cut or color at home.
Need your hair done, but can’t make the time to hit the salon? Concihairge might be your solution — and the in-home styling service just started taking bookings in Philadelphia.
Owner Stephanie Cleck and her team of traveling stylists have been earning raves on the Main Line (Concihairge is the 2017 winner of the Main Line Parent LOVE Award for best hair salon). The expansion into Philly means city moms and dads can fit a haircut, blowout, or other styling treatment around their schedule. Concihairge stylists basically bring the salon into your home or office — all you need to provide is space and running water.
“We’re so excited for our launch in the City of Brotherly Love,” Cleck said. “Given the warm welcome we’ve received in the Philadelphia suburbs, it only made sense to make our way into the city.”
Stylists can do cuts, color, blowouts, keratin treatments, and hair extensions. You can add on cuts for other members of the family, too.
To celebrate, Concihairge is holding a launch event May 6 at the Skirt boutique in the Rittenhouse area, at 212 S. 17th St. From 2 — 5 pm, you can sample the braid bar and other “beauty bumps,” or just enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and snacks. The event is free and open to the public; you can RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
