Diggerland Open for the Season, New Ride Coming Soon

A new ride is on its way, too.

Ready to rumble? New Jersey’s Diggerland opens for its new season March 18, with a new ride coming soon.

A favorite of construction equipment-obsessed kids, Diggerland offers visitors the chance to operate heavy machinery such as off-road tractors, diggers, and skidsteers. There are also themed rides that play off kids’ love of trucks, tractors, and other vehicles.

Borrowed from a popular concept in the United Kingdom, Diggerland opened in West Berlin, New Jersey, in 2014. This year, the park is opening a new ride, which will be ready for visitors as early as March 25. The Greased Beast puts you in the back of a demolition trailer as it’s “dumped” by a hydraulic system, lifting you 34 feat in the air. Riders are in a seat, and it’s sure to be a thrill for a kid with a thing for dump trucks.

To celebrate, the park is selling discounted tickets for March 18 and 19. Click here to buy a ticket, and use the promo code DIG2017 to save $5 (tickets are normally $36.95 for guests over 42 inches tall, and $28.95 for kids under 42 inches). Annual passes are also on sale right now.

Diggerland is at 100 Pinedge Dr. in West Berlin, New Jersey.
