Strap on your running shoes for this spooky 5k to benefit Manna, a nonprofit providing meals to those who are terminally ill. Registration is $35 and includes a t shirt.

The Glow: A Jack O’Lantern Experience

Thursdays through Sundays October 6 — 29
States Drive, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia

 

Take a stroll down Jack’s path to see carved pumpkins like you’ve never seen it before. Explore under-the-sea lanterns, dodge a ghostly pirate ship, and maybe spot some princesses. Tickets are available online and vary in price.

Portside’s Family Halloween Extravaganza

October 28, 5:30 — 8:30 pm
Portside Arts Center, 2531 E. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia

Paint pumpkins, play games, and dance at the Portside Arts Center to celebrate Halloween. There will be craft beer for adults and light refreshments for all. Adult tickets are $20 each, $30 per couple, and $5 per child.

Diggerland Night of the Living Machines
