Our 2018 Main Line Parent and Philadelphia Summer Camp Guide highlights over 50 summer camps from across the Delaware Valley, including traditional camps, sports camps, and specialty camps.

AIM

The summer enrichment program at AIM Academy is a four-week long program which offers students in grades K-12 the opportunity to reinforce essential skills in reading, writing, comprehension, and math. The younger camp explores an exciting region of the globe and interlaces the topic into the essentials skills.  The older campers have STEAM electives to choose from in addition to reinforcing basic skills. AIM also has college prep programs for 11th and 12th graders.

The Pathway School offers a 6-week Extended School Year (ESY) Program that focuses on each student’s affective, academic, social, communication, and functional needs in various structured learning environments in school and in the community (including supporting their IEP goals).

Camp Pegasus

Day camp for kids ages 6-16. Camp Pegasus is a source of inspiration for families who struggle with the needs of a child with ADHD, High Functioning Autism (Asperger’s type), Autism Spectrum disorders like PDD and other learning disabilities. Embedded in fun camp activities like sports, art, music and computers are social skills lessons that bring the answers to questions your child seeks.

Chinese Language and Culture Camp

Students in grades 6-12 will learn about Chinese language and culture through fun experiences, including how to order food at a Chinese restaurant, book travel arrangements in China, shop for the latest Chinese fashions online, listen to popular Chinese music, and more.

Fusion Academy Summer Enrichment

Fusion provides kids in grades 6-12 a one-to-one classroom setting where the educational experience is completely customized to a student’s needs, learning style, schedule, and interests. Students can catch up on a course that challenged them over the year, get help with test prep skills, or learn something new with electives in arts, music, wellness, and more.

The Grayson School’s summer enrichment programs feature an ever-changing selection of topics for gifted learners ages 5-14. For many gifted children, finding close friends can be difficult as they don’t always relate to kids at school or in their neighborhood, so summer enrichment is a great opportunity to interact with intellectual peers.
